We are back

We are back

We’re really excited to announce the re-launch of Bayside Farmers’ Market.

We are back with a new look and new dates at Trey Bit Reserve Sandringham … and from now on, the market will be held on the 4th Saturday of the month.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the market meets all the current safety requirements.

Thank you for your support and we can’t wait to see you all again soon.

Covid Safe

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes with our partners to ensure the market meets all the latest safety requirements and we wanted to let you know about some of the changes you will see, which include:

  • One entrance and exit point only on Jetty Road
  • Mandatory face masks…in keeping with current health requirements
  • Use of hand sanitiser at entry
  • Keep safe distancing…… 1.5m between shoppers and when queuing
  • No sampling of food and no food tasting
  • No self-serving or handling of produce
  • Take-away food and coffees only – sorry……no sit-down at present
  • Contactless payment is the preferred payment method
  • Shop & Go….after you’ve shopped and collected your items, we ask that you please then depart.

What hasn’t changed is the range of fabulous stalls with plenty of great fresh produce!

Organised by Rotary

The market is organised by Regional Farmers’ Markets and the Rotary clubs of Hampton and Sandringham.

Rotary volunteers make a huge difference in the local community and around the world.

Cumulatively, that entry fee or the egg and bacon roll add up to enough money to buy swags for the homeless or provide sanitation for a village in less developed  parts of the world.

Our members are regular people but we make a difference by working together.

If you think you’d like to get involved please visit our websites (Sandringham / Hampton) or talk to a volunteer at the market.

Where are we?

$400,000

That’s how much the Bayside Farmers’ Market has raised towards projects in the local community!

Entry

There’s a voluntary contribution that goes towards the projects of Hampton and Sandringham Rotary clubs.

The market is organised by volunteers who have to get up early, so please give them a big smile!

Yes, you can bring your dog, and lots of people do. Stop by at the Rotary Barbecue trailer for a snack for your canine friend.

A huge thank you to our generous platinum sponsor.
